Will your structure survive the blizzard?

Make learning fun! This activity is perfect to use to teach students about blizzards and by designing a building a building that will withstand a blizzard simulation. This is a perfect winter activity and is the perfect addition to and extreme weather unit.

Students plan, design, and execute their own ideas. After they have completed their activity, there is time for reflection on what worked and what didn't.

It aligns with the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards).
