Make learning fun with this Thanksgiving STEAM challenge in which students design their very own Thanksgiving Day Parade and code it with Ozobots! An excellent companion activity to the fall read aloud book Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet.
Not only do students design the paper balloon, as an added challenge, they must attach it to an Ozobot and code it through the parade! Includes bonus activity for students to use 2D shapes to create their own city for the parade.
Students plan, design, and execute their own ideas. After they have completed their activity, there is time for reflection on what worked and what didn't.
