Create a Turkey in Disguise with this Thanksgiving STEAM Activity and Thanksgiving Writing Activity!
Students draw a turkey and create a Turkey disguise for it! After they have completed their turkey, students write a Thanksgiving Narrative about their turkey in disguise.
An excellent companion activity to the Thanksgiving read aloud book Turkey Trouble by Wendi J. Silvano.
Students plan, design, and execute their own ideas. After they have completed their activity, there is time for reflection on what worked and what didn't.
After the STEM projects are created, students write a narrative about what the turkey will do after he escapes.
