In this Winter STEM Project, students receive a letter from the STEM snowman stating that there is a snowball fight contest. In order to win, students must build a fort for protection using only the materials provided. This is an excellent activity for students to work on during the winter months!The Engineering Design Process:
Students plan, design, and execute their own ideas. After they have completed their activity, there is time for reflection on what worked and what didn't. They follow the six step Engineering Design Process: Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, Experiment, Improve.
