Have a classroom Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Students work in small groups to design, plan, and build a scale model of a float for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They learn about the history of the parade and the engineering behind float construction.

As part of the project, students need to stay within a designated budget and track their expenses, teaching them financial literacy and decision-making skills.
