In this Second Grade STEM Lesson, students create models to represent the shapes and kinds of land and bodies of water in different places.
This includes 2 STEM Challenges. One can use just play dough and the cards we created to make different bodies of water and landforms. The second option is to create a 3-D model of a landform or body of water.
This 2nd Grade STEM activity aligns with NGSS Earth Science Standards for 2nd Grade but can be used in 3rd grade or 4th grade too.
