Teach about circuits, electrical energy, and electrical currents with this NGSS Aligned 4th Grade Read Aloud STEM Activity! Perfect for a STEM Lab, Library, any fourth Grade Classroom.

In the story, Switch On, Switch Off we see the ways that electricity helps us do different things. We also learn about a machine called a generator that can convert energy to electricity.

In this 4th Grade STEM Challenge, students build their own paper circuit to power a picture of their own design.

This activity include detailed instructions for teachers to know exactly how to create circuits so you don't have to have any experience with electrical engineering to teach this lesson.

This STEM Challenge aligns to NGSS Standards for Fourth Grade NGSS Physical Science 4-PS3-2 but can be used in 3rd-5th grade.
