Papas Mechanical Fish Fifth Grade STEM Challenge!
Connect STEM and Literacy with this amazing 5th Grade STEM Activity as a companion to Papas Mechanical Fish by Candace Fleming.
In this STEM Activity, students will take on the role of an engineer as they design, build, and test their own submarine.
Students also test their vehicle by submerging it in the tub of water. They predict how much water they will need to fill their bottle with in order for it to be fully submerged in the water.
This STEM Challenges aligns to NGSS Engineering Standards for 5th Grade, but can be used in 2nd-5th grade.
